Dr. James D. Wolfe

James D. Wolfe, M.D.

Dr. James D. Wolfe graduated from the UCSF School of Medicine and completed his residency and pulmonary fellowship at UCLA and his Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He is Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and served as Chairman of the Allergy and Immunology Division at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for 27 years. Dr. Wolfe has published extensively, including in the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA and Chest, regarding his research on new medications for the treatment of asthma and allergic diseases. He has been selected to "Best Doctors in America" each year from 1996 to the present time. Dr. Wolfe was honored with the 2015 Santa Clara County Medical Association "Outstanding Contribution in Medical Education" award. Dr. Wolfe is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and AOA Honor Society, and is board certified in pulmonary disease, and by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Alan B. Goldsobel

Alan B. Goldsobel, M.D.

Dr. Alan B. Goldsobel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of Texas at Austin and attended medical school at the University of Texas. He completed his residency at UCSF and his Allergy/Immunology fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Goldsobel is a Clinical Professor at UCSF and Adjunct Associate Professor at Stanford University Medical Center where he teaches students, residents and fellows. He is a past president of the California Society of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and has been selected to "Best Doctors in America" from 2001 to 2015. He is certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

Dr. Robert T. Torrano

Dr. Robert T. Torrano graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  He completed his residency and Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles where he remained on faculty for three years prior to joining Allergy and Asthma Associates. He currently serves as an instructor for the San Jose – O’Connor Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Torrano is a member of the AOA Honor Society and is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Toby Levenson

Dr. Toby Levenson graduated from the Northwestern University School of Medicine. She completed her internship, residency, and chief residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Northwestern University. She is a member of the teaching faculty at Stanford University in the Division of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Levenson is a member of the AOA Honor Society, and is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Roxanne S. Leung

Dr. Roxanne S. Leung graduated from Princeton University and the Royal Conservatory of Music with degrees in Molecular Biology and Music Performance. She then attended Rush Medical College, completed residency at the University of Chicago, and Allergy/Immunology fellowship at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver, Colorado. She currently serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Stanford University Medical Center. She is a member of the AOA Honor Society, and is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Whitney Rassbach, M.D.

Whitney Rassbach, M.D.

Dr. Whitney Rassbach graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College. After earning his Doctor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, he completed dual pediatrics and internal medicine training at the University of Michigan. During his allergy/immunology fellowship at the world-renowned food allergy and immunodeficiency programs at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, he pursued food allergy research with Dr. Hugh Sampson, authored a food allergy chapter in a pediatric gastroenterology textbook with Dr. Scott Sicherer, and performed immunodeficiency research with Dr. Charlotte Cunningham-Rundles. Dr. Rassbach is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology. He has published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice and given presentations at several national allergy/immunology conferences.

CXiao Chloe Wan, M.D.

Xiao Chloe Wan, M.D.

Dr. Xiao Chloe Wan graduated with honors from Yale University and received her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was awarded a grant to research exercise-induce asthma. She then went on to complete a combined pediatric and adult Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco where she trained under nationally-recognized physicians in drug allergy and immunodeficiency. During fellowship she also collaborated with one of the world?s leading experts in asthma research to publish an article on current therapeutic targets for asthma management.

Kristi M. Annecone, F.N.P. graduated from San Jose State University, California, with a Masters degree in Science. Kristi has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2002. She began her career in 1993 at Allergy and Asthma Associates as an R.N., continued as Assistant Nursing Director and Director of Nursing. Kristi is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Carrie A. Kaufmann, PNP-BC

Carrie Kaufmann, PNP-BC, graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Nursing. She completed her Masters of Science and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco, California. Carrie is certified as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 1995 and is certified as an Asthma Educator.
