I have been to four allergy offices due to moves and changes in insurance and I far prefer A&AA to my previous ones. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Gandhe. Dr Gandhe is very thorough, makes sure to ask questions about everything relevant, puts together a plan, and explains it and every medication clearly. She is the only doctor to have me tested for asthma, try alternative medications, and order a CT scan to rule out sinus issues for my headaches (which then led to me seeing a neurologist and getting a migraine diagnosis after 4 years instead of being told they are allergy headaches!)
I didn't know where to turn. After six years of constant coughing, sleepless nights, and difficulty exercising, and after seeing my primary care physician repeatedly as well as five different specialists in allergy, pulmonary and cardiology, none of whom could help me, I was at the end of my rope. And then I got lucky. I was reading Diagnosis, the monthly New York Times article in which brilliant physicians make rare diagnoses in patients with medical mysteries, and that's where I found Dr. Wolfe, an allergist and pulmonologist whose office just happened to be near where I live. I looked him up and found he was the senior member of his allergy group, had an impressive background, and had received multiple awards, so I made an appointment to see him.
When I saw Dr. Wolfe, he was kind, thoughtful, and calming. He obtained a very detailed medical history and ordered a variety of tests. Within days he diagnosed my problem, changed my medications, and put me on a new treatment plan. In less than ten days after seeing Dr. Wolfe, my longstanding, debilitating cough was gone, I finally could sleep through the night again, and I was back to exercising without difficulty. It felt like a miracle after so many years of suffering. I have since recommended to close friends that they take their young child to Dr. Wolfe for her chronic hives and sinus problems, and she, too, has done great under his care.
Dr. Wolfe is a genius, and he's the most humble and respectful physician in the world. If you're looking for a great doctor, go see Dr. Wolfe.
Dr. Wolfe is personable and takes his time to explain your concerns. Most doctors don't make eye contact and type on their computer while asking questions. I have confidence he will take care of my sinus problem. With 50 yrs experience, how can he miss?

Dr. Torrano was extremely knowledgable and took a detailed history at my first appointment. He told me quite a bit about my options and made sure I had many opportunities to ask questions. He was very compassionate and practical about the solutions I had for my allergies. I was pleased and surprised to learn he could be my asthma doctor as well as my allergist. All of the staff I interacted with were pleasant, helpful and professional. I feel very lucky to have ended up with Dr. Torrano as my doctor!
Have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr Torrano is knowledgeable and keeps me healthy. He believes in face to face communication. He always has a smile on his face. The office staff seem to like and respect him.
I've been going to Allergy and Asthma Associates for allergy shots for a few years now, and am incredibly grateful and fortunate to have had two of the most amazing, intuitive, kind and compassionate doctors here. This is a shout-out to Dr. Leung and the entire staff (especially the tireless angels in the Shot Station) for placing themselves at risk during a pandemic so that we patients can stay healthy and keep going during a most difficult time. I can't thank them enough. Dr. Leung is incredible and truly cares, just a good person. Having other health issues alongside the allergies, without the treatment and medicine I receive here, I am a very sick human, and would not be able to keep working or function in life. The work this clinic does is important. They are professional, efficient and flexible, working with me more than once to assist me in continuing to receive treatment in between insurance lapses. Dr Leung articulates well, great as translating medical mumbo jumbo into plain English, have the best bedside manner and super responsive. She left me personal voice mail about the course of action she took after noting that I had an issue with an allergy shot and gave me her number that I could reach her anytime if I had any questions. I feel completely confident that I'm under Dr Leung's care to take care allergy and asthma for long term health.
I have been to two of the facilities, Moorpark & Gilroy. My Dr. is Roxanne Leung. Either place the staff has ALWAYS been friendly, professional and courteous. The staff takes interest in making sure everything is going smoothly. Being more familiar with the Gilroy Shot Station, my focus will be on them. Dr Leung has pulled me out of some scary situations. She is keen observer and a great listener. She is mindful and doesn't rush into anything. She looks at all angles before making a determination. The staff there, usually Selena, who gives the shots, and Yvonne the nurse, are very watchful of their patients. I would highly recommend Allergy & Asthma Associates of Northern California.
I took my son to Dr. Rassbach for the first time today and was extremely impressed with his incredibly thorough approach. He had personally spoken to my son's pediatrician and was already acquainted with some of his health history. He spent nearly an hour patiently explaining important information about my son's allergies and taking time to ask detailed questions about his health, background, environment, diet, etc. I thought I was pretty well informed before this appointment and was surprised at how much I learned today. Thankful to have found a great allergist.
I am really glad I chose this allergy clinic to figure out how to deal with my allergies. From the moment you walk in, you get the impression that even the front desk staff is happy to work there. They are warm and greet you personally by your name. Dr. Rassbach is incredibly kind, thorough and a good listener. Those are the qualities we wish to find in physicians and unfortunately are rare. I felt that he really listened to my issues and was genuinely concerned. He used real examples to help me understand why allergies happen and how treatments should work. I have suffered with uncontrollable allergies for years and had tried different treatments with no relief. I admit that at first, I did not think the Allergy and Asthma Associates would suggest anything that would ever help, but I decided to take that leap. I am so happy I did. I think Dr. Rassbach helped me find the treatment that helps me not feel like a sniffling, itchy, sneezy mess anymore.
Dr. Levenson and the staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. I had never been allergy tested before (despite suffering through allergies most of my life) and everyone was so informative. Despite helping a few different patients while I was there, Dr. Levenson was very present every time she spoke to me and my care never felt rushed, she even went out of her way to help me get the best price of a medication that my insurance doesn't cover. I would definitely recommend this office.
